Drat it all, so that's the one that's gotten out, is it?

If you'll pardon my asking, what exactly does it show, that picture of the whale?

[adamantined]

That's the one that I found, and it looks like... well, have you ever seen Pinocchio?

[primrosella]

Odd, that's what Blue said, too. Am I...that is, the picture, is it...

Well, er, I suppose I should say--um, is there a tongue?

[adamantined]

I... think so. There's something that definitely looks like a tongue, but I'm not big on whale anatomy.

[primrosella]

Oh, honestly. It must be from when it swallowed me whole, then. Drat, drat, drat it all, why would they ever want to send around a picture of that?

[adamantined]

Were you... shrunk? Or was it just a really big whale?

[primrosella]

No, it was a very big whale. And I was just swimming along, minding my own business, when it came up behind me and swallowed me right up with no warning whatsoever. It was a rather unpleasant experience, to say the least.

Was there someone else in there?

[primrosella]

Er, no, not that I can recall. I was mostly on my own for the better part of that whole adventure, really. Why do you ask?

[adamantined]

It just stands to reason that if a whale is just going around, swallowing swimmers, you wouldn't be the only one.

[primrosella]

I'm fairly certain I was the only swimmer out that day, though. Of the few people I did meet, most of them kept to themselves, and I'm fairly certain the old fisherman never went farther out than his dock. I really couldn't say, honestly.
