I do believe I know a few people in that portrait.

And how is the skateboarding going? Sam was trying to talk me into trying it, but I'm not certain I should.

I should hope you'd recognize at least one of them.

You should! It's silly that something as simple as going sliding around like that should be such fun, but it is.

And I most certainly do recognize him, too. That is a splendid Christmas gift.

It may be fun for you, but I think I'd do nothing but fall off of it.

Isn't it? It's just what I wanted. And we're putting it up in my room, too, so I can look at it every day.

Oh, believe me, I did plenty of that, too. Sam got the worst of it, though, since he kept trying to catch me and I kept knocking him over with me.

That picture--is that your family?

Also, I'm trying to picture you on a skateboard and it's not working. Not that I don't think you can do it!

Mmhmm! That's my father and mother, and my twin brother, Alexander.

Oh, don't worry, I'm sure I made for quite a ridiculous sight. It's really not so very different from Rollerblading, though, except that the wheels don't stay with your feet as you go places, so you have to be more careful about staying with them yourself.

That's an awesome present to get. Your family looks so nice... and if you don't mind me saying, your brother's kind of cute.

You get points for trying it, though! I fall over once and I'm done, so I totally admire anyone who can learn how to rollerblade or skateboard, no matter how silly they look when they're learning.

Oh, I don't mind at all! He is quite handsome, isn't he? And he's a magician, too--that's how he slew the dragon to rescue me.

Well, luckily, I had Sam around to break my fall all the times I tumbled over, so I do have a bit of an advantage in that respect.

It doesn't have to be today - just when everyone can.

I'm glad I can see, though I expect if you've always been blind, it's all right.

Well, do let me know when it is once it's decided, won't you? And I'll fix my post accordingly, don't worry.

I suppose if you've always been blind, you've never known anything different and so it's much easier to manage...but all the same, I don't like being without my sight. It's hard to stay out of trouble when you can't see it coming.

Of course. Thank you for posting about it.

I suppose you could hear it coming, unless it was a silent sort of trouble.

It'll be more fun if a lot of people come, won't it? And I'm sure some of my friends will be eager to, so I'm glad to help spread the word around.

...Sometimes that makes it worse, though, to hear it coming without seeing it.

Doesn't it, though? Cat says it may not be today, after all, but whenever everyone has the time for it.

Will you come out to play, then, Todd?

We may have teams, you know. Will you be on mine, or will we have to be bitter enemies for the duration?

Sirius? Yes, he is. He and his friend just crashed back into the City a day or two ago.
