I just want to draw people's attention to the community rules, which are on the userinfo page.  I have updated them and brought together a number of things that have been mentioned recently into one place.  Now that posts are not moderated for all members, it's particularly important to read the rules before you post.  I will be adding the rules

Sorry, this is completely off topic, but I just noticed that we don't have episode tags (episode 2.01, episode 2.02, etc) for series 2 yet. I just noticed because I posted some 2.03 icons and wanted to tag them that way but couldn't. Thought I'd let you know.

Perhaps you ought to explain in a friends locked post. At least that keeps it to the members of the site for the time being, and probably allows any idea stealing to be more easily tracked, if it happens.

I'd say most people here were honest. Unfortunately, one of my friends has just reported a blatant rip-off - and a true breach of copyright - of some superb SGA artwork, and I once had two zines (one of which was not in the public domain) ripped off by a fan on the other side of the Atlantic, and a long way from my wrath, so I guess that, like you, I am a tad wary.

Your other option is to e-mail/message some of us privately through lj - those you feel you know reasonably well, and get opinions that way.

I agree with lil_shepherd's suggestions. Either friends locked post here, or a few selected emails. But some things are worth taking risks over, so whatever your idea, I hope it works out and if I can support you in this I will be very happy to do so. I really hope things work out for you and your aunt.
