Mini Mod Post
I just want to draw people's attention to the community rules, which are on the userinfo page. I have updated them and brought together a number of things that have been mentioned recently into one place. Now that posts are not moderated for all members, it's particularly important to read the rules before you post. I will be adding the rules for posting fanfiction soon.
If you will forgive me for getting off-topic (although it's a precursor to something that will be on-topic) I wanted to ask a question. Some of you may have seen the post I made recently about raising money for my aunt to get a kidney transplant. The other day I thought of a way to raise funds which may appeal to Primeval fans, but I'm paranoid that if I tell people what it is now then someone will else will do the same thing quicker than I can. Obviously I'm not suggesting that I have a right to stop anyone who is inspired by the idea and wants to do their own but, putting it bluntly, this is an important cause for me and it would be unfortunate for that cause if mine was competing with someone elses. However, I want to see if people are actually interested before I put time and effort into setting it up. What do you think I should do?
