Tryin' a workout...

Those of you who've seen me in person know that I'm a fairly heavy guy. To put it bluntly, I'm 322 lbs on 5'10". I've decided that I'm tired of it, so a few weeks ago I started trying to change the way I eat. Note that I didn't say diet. I've been on those before, and while they got me slimmer each time, the results were strictly temporary. So I'm trying to change the way I live my life from a food and drink ingestion point of view. I also recognize that I need to be more active, as I am a fairly sedentary person. I have enjoyed lifting weights some in the past, but I feel so bad about the way I look, that I'm too embarrassed to go to the gym. A friend of mine made a MySpace post about a home workout program that has helped her out a lot, so I decided to try it. The first workout was tonight. I got through it, and am actually excited about doing it again (tomorrow if I'm not too utterly sore). I'll post more details about the system later, after I've seen how it goes for a bit. But I have to say, so far so good.
