Well, folks, lolafae has convinced me that having been on livejournal for a month, I ought to contribute something substantive. That, of course, is assuming that the personality behind the contribution is substantive, but I'll forgo debating that point for the moment

Actually, I consider myself a Midwestern boy at heart, although I've lived in the Southwest (Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas) most of my life.

BTW, Mack the Knife ROCKS, although the original is still a bit before my time, believe it or not! *grin*
