Kurt is not having a good day. The no-good-day started in the wee hours when he ate some cookies in the Sanctuary which have made him go mute, and it has not worn off now that it's morning. Other things happened as well, but he probably wouldn't talk about them, even if he could.
He goes to classes, but is sullen and non-participative. He figures it doesn't matter because he can't talk anyway. Time that would usually be spent in the kitchen is spent outside, in a tree.
