If she were a pokemon, I'd suggest you catch her. [He tilts his head] Then again, I don't think there are rules against keeping non-pokemon animals as pets, either.

It is a Pokemon, actually-- which is kind of a surprise, since birds are one of the things that actually do come from eggs under normal circumstances... Anyway, I... I just wouldn't feel right shoving a newborn Pokemon right into a ball just for a bit of convenience...

[He turns his head, looking at the egg next to him] Found an egg in my room earlier this morning, actually. First Yul--er. Christmas. And now this. I'm beginning to wonder who has been delivering these eggs.

Y-Yeah... The girl I purchased the egg from said they weren't native to Johto, so it's no surprise you haven't seen one before...

*He looks like he's about to nod in reply, but immediately catches himself in fear of Starly.* Ah, um... I-I don't know what kind of mythical Pokemon delivers eggs to trainers, but they definitely are getting a work out today, that's for sure!

Well... There was that one water path back in New Bark... But I'm not sure if that would actually get us anywhere.

Mm! It's a HM that lets you ride your water Pokemon out onto open water, provided you have the badge from Ecruteak as well.
