(no subject)
My unit is going to be popular again this year. 9 officially registered. another 4 to confirmed to come and just had a parent call and request spaces for two more. apparently we are the only active pathfinder unit in the city. the others are there but they don't do anything. They've all said no to planning camps whereas my two co-leaders and I firmly believe in camping. And they just sit around every meeting. I've had to set a cap again as my numbers are beginning to get high again.
and 'that woman' insists that we need some USEFUL pathfinder leaders...pffft. With myself and my co-leaders, my unit grew from 6-20. as if we need 'useful' leaders. we're showing them all!
Meanwhile, I'm off to camp this weekend. car is packed, waiting on my mess kit bag to dry and then gas and wendys for a dinner salad for when i arrive at camp. Then im good to go! I'm either going with the pecan apple chicken salad on mixed greens or oriental chicken salad on spinach and mandarin oranges. Both would be good with a poppy seed dressing. yum! I'm on a fancy salad kick right now :P
