Heartache
Sometimes, no matter how much you love a person, being with that person is not the best thing. No matter how much you may want the best for a person, if they do not want the best for themselves you are waisting your time. And when they can not see that they are not only hurting themselves, but also their children and the ones they claim to love; then maybe it is best to step away. It is not easy and it hurts like hell but, sometimes it is the only way to get through to them. They will either wake up and try to make things right or, they will continue their path of self-destruction and the destruction of those around them. I can not live like this anymore. I will talk to him Friday. I hope he wakes up. I hope he sees what he is doing to his child and to me(the woman he claims to love). I love him dearly; more than any man ever. I only want the best for him. I want us to be together but I can not continue this way; not only for my sake but for the sake of our child.
