Do you ever go outside and just listen to the sounds?
The sounds outside are refreshing today. The wind blowing through the leaves of the trees, sounds almost like ocean waves to me. The "tweet" of the titmouse and the "caw" of the crow; seems like they are speaking to me. The laughter of Adrian as she sits on the swing is music to my ears. I saw a blue heron fly across the marsh; he was beautiful, so graceful.
As soon as we went out the door Adrian saw a dandelion blooming. It must have been the only one in the yard; she picked it. :) She then walks around, "I get you one mommy". She tried really hard but, alas she did not find one. So, she brought me a clover leaf instead, "here you go mommy. Oooo so pretty." she says. I never realized it before but, it is pretty. The light verrigation of the leaves. The heart like shape of the lobes and green like an emerald. It is pretty, as pretty as any flower.
Then she starts bringing me acorns. Lots and lots of acorns. To think, from a tiny little seed such as this, our mighty oak was born. Seems impossible. She played on the tree swing for a while and we threw around the ball. I pushed her around on her bicycle; she has not figured out how to peddle yet. That really made my back hurt; bending over so far. UGH When she went to play in the sand I was relieved. I just sat back and let the breeze carry me away.
Then when she finally got tired and hungry, we came inside.
I took some pics(better battery, but still not great)
