China

Leaving the country is so stressful. Well, it is for me, because I have to change my name on my passport, which means I can't get my visa until I get my passport back, which is going to cost me hundreds of dollars, if it is even possible.

In addition to that you have to do normal leaving town things, like getting the post office to hold your mail for a month, and making sure you've packed everything you need. It is very overwhelming. I've made so many to-do lists I think my head may explode.

I want to go to sleep, since we will be driving to Shreveport at 8am, but I have to get stuff ready, though I am taking the time to write this. I would like to talk to a passport person to see if same-day processing is available on name changes on passports, but they will only talk to you on weekends if you are leaving in 7 days. I'm leaving in 9. Man. I guess I should go do productive things now. Like finish making all my to-to lists so I don't forget anything, and treating the apartment for roaches.

It would be nice if money fell from the sky. And maybe an industrious person to help with preparations. My complaining is done now.
