Viva Las Vegas?

There is something bitterly nostalgic about flying into and over your home town. I look through the tiny oval window and can see every place I once visited on a daily basis in it's ant sized form. I don't miss it with a loving feeling but just with it's old familiarity. Just seeing how from a distance it's just a big, flat, beige, city but it once held so much of me and my "dramatic" life within it's desert outline that I can't help but see it differently and reminisce about how my life changed over the years living and evern subsequently revisiting after I moved away. It's a strange feeling thatim not very good at describing because my skills at verbally drawing a mental image for someone else aren't very good. I've just decided I don't like looking at Vegas from up high as much as I do just bing there. It's an outer body-esque kind of feeling for me. It makes me palpably uncomfortable every time.

On a better note...Hello East Coast, it's been so long. Let's get to know each other ALL over again :)
