in the event that i need to attend every dance class from now henceforth i forced myself to stay at school all day today. i even forced myself to be early to my photo class today because i can feel frank's rising dislike of our class and i don't want him to despise me for being two minutes late anymore. and yes this is what my efforts resulted in:
- frank showed up 45 minutes late for our 8:30 class. by that time all but six of us had left. the reason i stayed is because i had nothing better to do and i was already in mid-conversation with emily and tom. class then ended at 10. so i proceeded to the art library to kill time before my photo theory class at 11:30. this is the list i made for myself in order to better organize my time and to not fall asleep while being bored senseless:

- after photo theory i killed a half hour with tom by touring through suzallo library. it has a very harry potter-esqueness to it. then i got soup and a sandwich and ate while listening to music and staring out a window.
- at around 2:00 i went into oddegard library (which i just recently discovered yesterday). i walked around the books on the top floor and found a book called An Unsocial Socialist by George Shaw. so i started reading it and then took a fake nap for half an hour before being startled by my alarm going off at 3:30.
- then i trotted off towards dance and had a surprisingly decent time (i kept telling myself not to go into sequences thinking 'i can't do it' and said to myself, 'you can do it! be positive!'). and oh yes. i walked to the IMA on the burke-gilman trail and RAN on the indoor track. granted, i didn't even run half a mile, but i decided not to strain myself on my first exercising attempt especially since i didn't even bring proper shoes (i was running in my sambas). i saw Lia for the first time since december on the treadmill. we talked for a bit and realized we're in the same Oceanography class. i also saw Megan from elementary school and envied her in-shapeness.
- i then got a smoothie and walked to the bus stop by the med. center and listened to music all the way home.
