1.) The other night a mosquito was flying around my room. After a few passes he flew at my face and I clapped him. When I looked at my hands there was this massive gob of bright red blood on my palm. I was so freaked out. I had the covers all the way up to my chin when I went to bed. Mosquitos don't get me shaky and crying in the corner like other bugs (sadly, while that's hyperbole, it's not hyperbole by a very wide margin :|) we had West Nile a few years ago. A fatal illness with no known cure that was passed by mosquitos. I'm pretty that's over now but it's impossible not to be INCREDIBLY freaked out by those little buggers.
2.) Ladies and Gentlemen, my monitor suddenly died! D: It hasn't given me any trouble ever and then I come home last night and the light's blinking but it won't come on. The monitor I'm using now is one my dad found in the garage. It's an acceptable monitor in regards to display. Which of coures means I'm quite distressed because 'acceptable' doesn't work for graphics D: Which means I'm going to have to find money for a monitor. In the meantime no photoshop for me ;_;
3.) With nothing else to do I dug out
Claw, a side-scrolling PC video game from 1997 about a pirate cat named Captain Claw who's out to defeat the Cocker Spaniels and find a tailsmen called the Amulet of Nine Lives. Not as fun or pretty as Rayman but it's got a lot of charm and it's not DOS-based so I can just installed it and played. AWESOME. I've had this game since maybe 2008 but I've never beaten it. It gets really difficult in the higher levels. But you can download costume levels to play. So the game has a lot of replay value.
This seems to be a great fansite with information about cheat codes, walk throughs, and it even has some custom levels to download :3
