Good news, everybody!

I finally got WinDVD 6 working on my computer. My Vol. 1 Futurama DVDs arrived today (oh, yeah, I'm big into Futurama right now.) and, after six months + of owning this system, I resolved to somehow get DVD software working on my computer. WinDVD 2010 is, I don't know, it wouldn't run. I look up solutions and I'm seeing multiple possible fixes. I just got the feeling WinDVD 2010 had way too many issues.

But struggling with it wasn't a complete waste of time because I stumbled across a compatibility mode for when a piece of software has worked on a previous version of Windows. Scaled WinDVD 6 back to XP SP2 and my dearly beloved software works like a champ ♥ So happy. I haven't found anything that takes DVD screencaps at a comparable level :\ This program is six years old, people. There's probably a law against this somewhere. The funny thing is that it works just as well as it ever did. You'd think it would be clunky and awful, and 'oh dear lord, I need something new STAT' but, nah. It's fine.

Speaking of Futurama!

I should practice drawing more :\

Anyway. I'm pretty upset about this recent clip Comedy Central posted. I hate when television goes out of it's way to not make any sense with character continuity. Anyway, I've settled down into grumpy acceptance. It's possible this'll all work out but I'm not going to hope. That's what got me trouble the last time @_o
