AAA (pronounced as "triple A" and a backronym - yes, that's a word apparently - for Attack All Around) was my absolute favorite band before I discovered the awesomeness of KAT-TUN. I love almost all of their songs and like all the ones I don't love. In fact, the only song by them that doesn't make my playlist is the cover of "I Saw Mama Kissing Santa Claus" because I'm not really big on the Christmas music.
"Dream After Dream" is one of my absolute favorites by the band and for AAA that's saying something. It was a dual A-side paired with "Aitai Riyuu" for their 24th single and was also found on the "Buzz Communication" album. The single was released on 2010-05-05 and peaked at #1 on the Oricon weekly (at least, according to en.wikipedia.org as I only keep up with release stats on KAT-TUN).
I could only find the short version and lives and covers of it, so you get the short version:
I just absolutely love the black and pink outfit Uno Misako is wearing!
At first the band really focused on Misako, Nishijima Takahiro (the red sweater), and Urata Naoya (puffy blue sleeveless jacket). Around but not necessarily exactly at this single, the band became much more balanced as far as solo lines are concerned and this started with Itou Chiaki (black and yellow). I don't mind because I like her better anyway. Not that I don't like Misako because I do. Seriously, I just love this whole band - including the member that left years earlier, Gotou Yukari.
Nifty tidbit I read a long time ago: Hidaka Mitsuhiro (black and white jacket, blue shorts) used to be a Johnny's. IF I could remember where I heard that, I'd credit the source but it's been at least five years since I read that and I've had to restore my computer so I've lost all of my old AAA links anyway.
Anyways, hope you like the song but even if you don't, I'd love to hear your opinions!
