Working the day job a lot these days, still looking for a band to open for us for a gig on May 1st...time is running out!
Been looking at analogue synths lately; want something growly and bassy. The Moog Rogue looks good, aparently the Realistic mg 1 is the same design and it's 500 dollars cheaper. It's a little more work to get the same buzzy bass patches that the Rogue does, but most people can't tell the difference in sound. I'm not sure if my synthesis skills are enough to get what I want out of the mg 1, and I generally have a mistrust for Realistic because their stereos SOUND LIKE SHIT!!! I suppose that's not a good enough reason to write off a company entirely, maybe they just suck at stereos.
I guess I'd have to get my hands on an mg 1 to really know for sure.
I wish certain individuals in my life would respect that I have a lot going on that can't just be dropped to drive out to fucking Stratford for a barbeque. I agree that family is important, but when you off-handedly plan a trip during a busy week where I have a gig, a tour to get ready for, a day job to work, and recording to finish before I get out on the road; you're fucking lucky I'm willing to give up sleep to spend time with you! I can only do what is possible, I'm only one person and I'm working very hard to keep all these balls in the air which are opportunities that are important to me. Maybe this individual has the kind of calendar you can clear on a momment notices, however I do not. grrrr
