Wow, it has been a while since I posted. The last few months have been so, so busy. Things have really taken off for The Boyfriend, he has sales and shows all over the place. He just finished a nine day show, which was grueling. I helped out whenever I wasn't at work. He did well, and had more gallery interest. He also had a women ask him about teaching weekend workshops for a potter's guild north of Toronto. She loved his work, and come by twice. She ended up buying several pieces. Another woman spent almost $400 on his work. She really, really loved it. He has been working with a lot of soft greens, blues, and yellows. Very pretty. He has another sale this weekend,
http://www.dudeshow.com I *love* this sale. Thirty indy artist and designers, music, and drinks. It is a lot of fun.
I have been knitting a lot. I've been making Christmas presents. Knitty.com Fetching Mitts for my Mum, a lacy scarf for The Boyfriend's Mum, a hat for my Mum's birthday, a hat for The Boyfriend. I made a Knitty.com clapotis for me. I have worn it everyday since I finished it last month. I love, love, love it. I'll be making another one very soon. I made The Boyfriend a scarf in September, and he is finally getting some use out of it.
No, I did not knit his mittens. They are beautiful, 100% wool handknit mittens from Newfoundland, bought for only $22 at a craft sale. They are Nonia Mittens.
