Oof. Today went from zero to crazy in a very unexpected way. I noticed the left leg of my glasses had been loose for some time, so I stopped into LensCrafters on the way home from work to get a small adjustment. I came home, went to dinner with Meghan, and was settling in for the evening when, pop, the left leg snaps off my glasses. It looked

I'm glad you got your eye situation taken care of, but man! what a crazy night! I also can't believe you got contacts... but I think you're going to love them once your eyes adjust. Just make sure you get a pair of non-prescription sunglasses to wear also. ;-)

My one complaint about glasses vs. contacts is that when I wear glasses I feel like I can get away with no eye makeup, and when I wear contacts I feel naked without it.

Alright, I'm done now. Can't wait to see the "new" Lindsay on Thursday! :-)

Yeah I'm already experiencing a little of the "I feel naked" thing, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I think I'm going to plan on waking up early enough that I can play around with some makeup options before work. But so far I'm really loving them and wondering why I ever stopped wearing contacts in the first place. And yeah, I dug out a pair of my non-prescription sunglasses from back in the day and they will make-do to get me to work tomorrow, but I definitely need a new pair because these are so out of style!! Haha.
