Crazy about CRAZY FOR YOU
Crazy For You rocked on Friday nite...the pit nearly made me gag though, geez...Larry was phenomenal...SUCH a pretty voice...no one should be allowed to have that much talent packed into them. Last nite Kelly and I went to see West Side Story at River Hill...eww, I hate that school...but the show was good, especially Gloria's voice (just plain gorgeous). Their dancing was good, but it wasn't as complicated as the tap stuff Atholton did. As usual their sets were great but, of course, River Hill can afford to have them done professionally...surprise, surprise. I love the Romeo & Juliet storyline, but somehow I always hated the movie version, as cool as Natalie Wood was...it was just too cheesy...I laughed instead of cried. I had never seen it onstage before...I confess, this version was not remotely funny. So congrats to Atholton and River Hill Drama on awesome musicals!!
I'm still getting assualted on all sides about prom...that would include Shea, Kelly, and Kelsey (Laura too??)...they clearly don't understand why I don't think prom is fun. The parts of prom I'd like is probably the eating (hahaha...sorry, people, but I looove food!!) and the dancing, two things that I can do somewhere else at much cooler venues without an ugly dress and limo (Benz outdoes any limo, ten times over)...it's too much schlepping and too much money and, all in all, an expensive hassle. I'll be 18 next week...Tiffy's 18, too...we should go clubbing!!! totally out of character for me though...hahaha. So, if anyone's asking about prom, as of right here, right now, I'm thinking not.
I hope my dad starts talking to me again...erg...why is everything so complicated??
Cousins are coming over soon...not sure why, though...I'm so busy I don't have time to entertain people.
