Wow...tons to update!! I haven't written forever because I was gone to Boston, then had tons of make-up work...erg, glad that's over.

So Boston was AWESOME, as expected. We thought for sure Lewis would be much stricter than Rucker, but we were completely wrong. Rucker at least held us to the HMC rules, Mrs. Lewis didn't even hold us to those (either that or she didn't know we were breaking them in the first place). The first night we were there we were in the guys' room for an hour past curfew, two things that couldh ave gotten us expelled from the conference if we were caught...haha but we weren't!!! So we went to try and find the Larz Anderson bridge...we found the bridge but hypothesized that the plaque was buried under the mountains of snow that still graced Boston...shoo it was freezing...but we went to the COOP where I splurged on lots of books (another Russian history book, of course, as well as a trilogy on the Spanish civil war...I should SO major in this stuff). I was so angry to see, upon arrival, that Marche had vanished...it was easily one of the best restaurants in existence, and I had never heard about it being anywhere else. But we did most of the other traditional fine dining: California Pizza Kitchen, Thai food (lemon chicken was soooo good), and Legal Seafood. On Saturday night Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Mortimer took us to Durgen Park (spelling?) which was interesting...Kelsey and I ordered prime rib for the first time...I ordered the wrong cut so it came with this massive bone hanging off the plate...then David tried to convince us it was a plant to make it more appetizing...funny, but it didn't work. But the brownie was awesome. And as we were leaving to go back to the T, we passed a McCormick & Schmick and I almost died because I could never find one is Boston though I knew there had to be one somewhere...whooo ten days til my birthday and some serious M & S business.

The plane ride there was weird. I flew for the first time to Boston last year and it was a really good flight...this year, however, I made a new friend. His name is Turbulence. And he's NOT my friend. It doesn't make me sick or anything...but it's aggravating when your trying to read-sleep-maintain your sanity and the plane keep vibrating under you. The limo bus that took us from Providence to Boston rocked...ugly on the outside but super comfy on the inside (which made for a nice nap on the way back). So much stuff happened...when the elevators were ultra-packed on Thursday and Friday night after committee, we definitely walked up 26 (yes, twenty-six) flights of stairs...the up-side to being on the 26th floor was the view...flippin sweet, if I say so myself...I was doing YMCA to the crazy neon light outside til about 1:30 am...hahaha. Another discovery made: Au Bon Pain has super good frosted cinnamon rolls...I had two while I was there. I also took the time to buy the "Little Black Book of Poker"...I'm still studying it - gambling is legal in 10 DAYS!!! So I'll stop talking about the fun stuff and get to committee (which overall was super fun, too)...let's just say we had a guy portray Hillary Rodham a little too accurately...this goes for the guy who had Rick Santorum too...I'm sure he's a nice guy, but Santorum's a bastard...and then Julia next to me was John Kerry (and she's from Houston...clearly not a Bush supporter) haha...but all in all an interesting crowd...good times. By the way: Kelsey and Katherine both brought home awards...yay!!!!

I'm sure I've forgotten stuff...it's hard not to when so much happens in such a short period of time. Tomorrow I go to the hospital all day, then Crazy for You tomorrow nite...and Larry's singing (yay)...Kara's in the dance part...haha this should be a good show.
