So tired, just want to sleep forever. (If I could sleep forever, would you still be in my dreams?) This morning I went to classes at 8, 9, & 10...but skipped my Hist22 recitation at 12.

Katie & I left for Concord at 1. The car ride flew by, and Katie & I talked about a lot of good stuff. I got home a little after 3.

Seeing my house & going inside felt so good. The carpet felt a million times softer than I remember it. And my bedroom has so much more sunlight since trees were taken down. I walked into my room & there was lot of stuff on my bed. The spring supplement for the yearbook came, a couple of magazines, a J. Crew catalog, a patchwork Vineyard Vines belt. I cried when I came in the house. I don't know why it's making me so emotional, I'm just really really happy to be here.

I had my brows waxed & a pedicure this afternoon, then met Mom & Dad for dinner. Daddy was so happy to see me. All night, he has hugged me, pulled my hair, & just given me the goofiest grin. Mom said that a couple of days after I left, Dad told her she would "have to be patient with him" because he has taken it so hard that I'm gone. I love my parents.

I went to the Robinson football game with Mom & Dad. Shannon met us at the gate, and we hugged & I cried. Pattern, anyone? So happy to see her! I hung out with her & Carlton, who also came home from UNC this weekend, at the game. I was only there for an hour or so before I was exhausted & ready to go. So Carlton took me home, and I began the long laundry process. And took a really good shower in the privacy of my own bathroom, minus flip-flops. (side note: I almost got into the shower in a pair of Rainbows yesterday.)

The only down side to today has been a scratchy throat/lots of congestion. Thank you to the smoke-filled atmosphere of Players. And to cigarette smoke being one of my main asthma triggers.

Time to sleep in MY BED, which is queen-sized, close to the ground, and in a completely sterile environment.
