Recipe: Appetiser Meatballs
Source: Aunt Lyda & Uncle Fran
Cook's Notes: Aunt Lyda & Uncle Fran used to give a wonderful Christmas Party every year. We always looked forward to meeting the most interesting people there, and to consuming great quantities of my uncle's lethal Rum Punch, accompanied by these luscious meatballs.

1 lb. lean hamburger
2 cups small torn pieces of white bread (no crusts)
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 T. dried parsley flakes

Combine the ingredients and shape the mixture into small balls. Arrange in a glass baking dish. Pour Sauce over. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and put a colored toothpick in each. Serves 10.

Sauce
1 cup catsup
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup grape jelly

Heat all ingredients in a small saucepan, just until blended.
