hm, i say yes. tearupthestreet June 11 2005, 12:28:34 UTC
I agree with most of your answers. However, the teen pregnancy one kind of got to me. I don't think it's a wise decision for teenage girls to have babies, but if they are able to take care of a child, then I think it could work. Also, putting babies up for adoption isn't that bad either. The number of people who want to adopt is expanding, so it's a good solution in a way. The baby gets a deserving home, and the teenager goes on with her life. I am also pro-abortion unless it deals with the sex of the child.. but we all have our differences, and I am glad that you spoke your opinions. I'm sorry if I have preached to you but I feel strongly for both of the things I just talked about.

good luck.

You're right that the number of people who want to adopt a baby is expanding, and I actually think it's a good idea if couples adopt babies from teenagemothers who can't take care of their babies. But there are a lot of babies up for adoption in country's like Asia and Africa, who are in need of food, and love. More then the children from teenagemothers in the rich country's need. So, that's why I am against teen pregnancy. But against is such a hard word... I'm not against it, it's more that I don't really support it...

No, you didn't. I think it's great that you're speaking your mind, I have something where I can think about now. Because in some ways, I think you're right.

P.S. If teenage mothers can take care of their child, if they can pass their school and if they don't act like wild party animals, I think it's OK.

I was kind of iffy on your teen pregnancy answer. So many teens have sex and don't get pregnant. Some of them are not responsible and don't user protection and that sucks for them. Some of them do use protection, but the condom breaks or something. Either way, just because they messed up doesn't mean they won't be good parents and won't give the baby the care and attention they would give it if they were older and out of school. Granted, not all teen mothers are good mothers, but some are. And in your friends' cases, their solutions were pretty good ways to solve it, seeing as you're opposed to abortion

However, I like how you asserted your opinions and your english is actually very good. I also love Mulan and Harry Potter and you used complete sentences and good grammar *gasp* and so therefore I like you. Sorry for commenting you a novel. Good luck!

If the condom breaks, there's always the morning after pill, isn't it? Oh, but I don't think teenagers can't be good parents, I just didn't know how to put it in when I wrote my application. There are teenagers who can be good parents, but there are also who aren't there for their children. That's what's bothers me and that's where I complained about in my application. For me, even if i really want a child at my sixteenth, I would think it over and over again, and I think I would wait until I was older. But yeah, that's me! But I have to go now, thanks for your reply! =)xx

+amsterdam!
-bands
+greek and latin
-pics
-abortion answer. what if the woman was raped? it's not her fault, and she should be allow to have an abortion. should she really have to live with the consequences?
-teen pregnancy answer. again, what about rape? what if the girl is responsible and can care for the child?
+liv tyler. people tell me i look like her! :-)
-suicide answer. i can't even begin to explain how poorly thought-out that was.

i really liked you up until your opinions, and when i look at applications, that's what i mostly judge on. a girl can have a great application except for her marginal opinions, and i'll give her a no. you've gotta be intelligent. sorry, but no. good luck.

This is what I wrote in my abortion answer: But I think exceptions can be made for women who are raped, because they had no choice to do anything against it. You must have read around that sentence. And I think it's the same with teen pregnancy. Ah well, it are just my opinions. Everyone haves their own. Thanks anyway.

Do we really judge on pics? :\

Unless they were offensive to you I don't think that should be a reason you said no.

i said no for reasons other than her pics...if we aren't supposed to judge on them, then why are they there? i just didn't like her pics, i couldn't really see what she looked like, and i guess that's the entire purpose of the pics...i wasn't judging on her looks, just the picture quality. even with good pics, my answer would have remained the same.
