I don't think it's in Abed's nature to step on those toes. This is my major problem with Abed/Annie, 'cause he's a shipper, it's against our very nature xD
Yeah, I think so too, I remembered all their previous close-calls and pretend-movie-romance is totally Abed&Annie's thing. It would be awesome if Jeff saw this and thought it was serious, though, 'cause it's easier for him to hate all of the random guys paired up with Annie and blame it on the fact that those guys are douchebags but how can he deal with it when it's someone he can't really hate? Story-telling gold in here. It's just from what we saw in the promo Jeff seems to be in different parts of campus from A&A so I think it's probably something no one sees. But there will probably be a study group freak-out when they learn about it.
I dunno, maybe that Single White Female stuff was only in the working process, or maybe we'll see something....
I wasn't a fan of all that episode, Jeff and Britta were playing their stupid games and Annie got hurt(it's good she punched him, though, LOL), plus the group is clearly against Jeff/Annie, I dunno, I guess I just wanted Annie to be avoiding Jeff after Tranny dance and not the other way around... (lol, blame the amount of great fanfics I'd read after the finale and during the summer)
Oh, I was pretty sure they wouldn't end up together after the finale because it's just not how Tv works, lol, it's just I really didn't like how it was handled, they really made Annie a "lovestruck teenybopper" when she'd been so much more mature the previous half of the season and here she followed Jeff like a puppy, I just think she should have been more guarded. And of course Jeff's "man are monsters who crave young flesh" was just hurtful and disrespectful, I know it was a deflection and attack-is-best-defense but still, they could've make them take a step back in a gentler way. (I started watching when there were only 18 episodes out, so it was kinda hard for me when the dynamic changed from awkward mutual attraction they didn't acknowledge and sweet friendship to whatever that was this season, this Annie hopelessly crushing on Jeff while he's doing everything he can to dismiss her *sigh* I honestly never thought Community would turn this angsty XD) The first episode I saw was Cooperative Calligraphy and what caught my attention
( ... )
No couple did angst better than those two. Have you met House/Cameron or basically any ship in Doctor Who/Torchwood 'verse or any ship from British telly, really? ;)
Yeah, it's not that I don't like their dynamic, it's just so different now from what I'd signed up for (and reminds me Hameron so much) this kind of limbo gives the most delicious angst of all, it's just I've been really missing the happier times (or at least times when I didn't take Jeff/Annie so seriously and thought they were just cute and hot, oh, those simpler times...)
Well, I guess it's always a matter of your fist serious ship, it will always be special to you. (Wait, soap operas have good non-eye-rolling stories? I didn't know that.)
Haha, well I guess there's exception to every rule (well, ok, I may recall a certain soap I'd watched in my early teens that had a ship that really reminds Jeff/Annie dynamic (at its darkest) when I think about it now, only it was set in the 1830s in Russia *gg*)
Poor Nastya (You wouldn't know unless you are Russian, though)
Yeah, I admit GA is pretty soapy (I don't watch OTH), but still not every-day-soap-opera-soapy, I'd watched enough Latin American soaps when I was a kid to know the difference *gg*
