P.s --my mom asked me why i dont go to church anymore, and i said its more of a hassel getting there, going in and leavig then it is for me to explain. there is so much drama and bullcrap there. but what i didnt realize is i was cheating myself. i wasnt there, and im still not there to make friends or have a "good time" with the people there. i

Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this holy temple:

A church (House of God) is nothing but a house of prayer, where God's word is taught and where there is a person with spritual authority (sheperd) who holds an account for his sheep' souls. And where God is praised (Psalm 107:32
Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders. ) And where the Sprit of God is poured out. Without a spiritual leader and a body of Christ you can't grow spiritually the way God intended you to.
Exodus 20:5
You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
Exodus 34:14
Do not worship any other god, for the LORD , whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 4:24
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 6:15
for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land.
Idols and gods could be anything. They are anything that comes before God.
When i said 'turn His back' i didn't mean it like he won't forgive you because He will. But if you turn your back on God so many times it may become difficuly to feel God, and feel his Spirit. I have family members and friends who have experienced that. And i have experienced it first hand. By turning my back on Him too many times it became very hard for me to feel Him, and i went for periods of time where i felt nothing, it was horrible. I eventually felt it again, but that time without it was horrible, because i needed to feel His presence so much. But by continuing to do what i knew was right even when i didn't feel anything showed God that i really wanted it back, and He honored my sacrifice.
Revelation 3:16
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
God wants all or nothing from you. Being lukewarm will cause you to be spewed out of His mouth. Proving again that God is jealous.
