Remember when we were Scotty Mo's hos?
I know I should be working but it's Monday morning and I've been drinking all weekend!!! God it's awesome to be me! Flo got in on Friday night and because of stupid OC transpo, Amy and I ended up in the ghetto part of Ottawa in front on the Silver Dollar strip club surrounded by strippers... it was scary!! We finally did make it to the airport and brought her back home! Next day we headed to Kelsey's for our annual lunch and shopped around before meeting Laurie at Rideau, we then met up with Lynda and drove to Kanata to have dinner at Jax Axxtors or whatever it's called. That's when the drinking began and never ended! The desserts were almost as good as the drinks and I was truly in heaven. Then we decided to head over to Scotia Bank Place for the show and waited what seemed to be forever for a bus and then got frustrated along with two other girls who were going to the show. I call a cab and a few minutes later I see a cab van drive by so I chased it down and we finally headed to the show. Of course we buy our tickets, programs, cast photos and alcohol because no skating show in without smirnoff ice! Well by that time we're getting pretty wasted and making comments during the show. Laurie and I broke into song and dance during the 60's number and we also had a moment during JRo's At last. The show itself was good, I could have done without Todd's boring numbers and Flo got confused as to why Tessa and Scott were skating to Tennessee's song in Canada. Brian Orser almost made us cry and got the only standing ovation of the night. I just love that man! We also saw Noe, Jillian and Erica during intermission before getting more alcohol (I was anticipating Todd boring me again and I needed a drink)
On Sunday, we went to Swiss Chalet for lunch followed by blades of glory which was hilarious!!!! Remember when Yuka and Jason represented China and were still beaten by the Americans? I freaked out when I saw Sasha Cohen since you know I want to be like her and freak out when a bra gets thrown at me! We then headed downtown for chai lattes and waited for Jimmy to call. We went out to dinner at Johnny Farrina's and had a good time until I started getting phone calls which ruined my evening but Jimmy made it all better by making me a strong cosmo!
So for the next two days we'll be eating all you can eat chinese, watch some skating and then watch the game at Boston pizza. It's going to rock!
Well we took a bunch of pictures which some of us will post eventually. We're just waiting for Aaron's approval ;) Seriously I wish this weekend never ended because I happen to like being Scotty Mo's ho along with other things!!!
