(no subject)
i ended up working super late last night, so i didn't get to edit. i did, however, sew my zouave jacket in about 4 hours, which makes me very proud. it's hard to tell if it fits "right" given that it's supposed to be a bit drapey. i need to look up pictures today.
left on the list:
1. finish sides on vest
2. sew buttons & buttonholes on vest
3. decorate basket
4. decorate hat
5. finish trim on jacket
6. sew fasteners on skirt
7. decorate bonnet
not too bad! the only thing i am overdue on is sewing the sides of the vest. but again, not bad!
my plan tonight is to pick up more lace/trim, go home, sew the vest sides ASAP and then decorate in a festive, rather than harried, atmosphere. this will involve wine, and movies, and hopefully steakums.
now i'm off to work. and by work, i mean read up on CSS while figuring out how to get to the cow palace.
