(no subject)
i was supposed to clean today. whoopsie.
i did, however, finish cutting out the muslin pattern pieces for my zouave jacket, bonnet, and bag. i also finished some internet research - i think i've located a hoop skirt, a blouse and a hat for danny, all three for less than $100. i considered sewing my own blouse, but again, not feeling up to it. not this year. i decided to forego the muslin pieces for the skirt b/c i've sewn the skirt before and it's easy peasy.
i also worked and took care of some holiday shopping. well, shopping for materials needed for holiday gifts. but i'm very excited about said gifts!
i purposely relaxed today because tomorrow is going to be a big long event. danny and i actually have the day off together, gasp, so i'm combining all the holiday shopping with as much of the holiday cleaning as i can. there's the ikea trip for bits'n'pieces, trader joe's and probably whole foods (hopefully they'll have the beans i need), and fabric stores to see what's on sale for my dickens outfit. i don't know how much will get cleaned - my major goal is to reorganize the clothing situation so the guest bedroom doesn't look like a closet when my parents stay here.
the cold is making me sleepy and lethargic. this does not help the productivity. space heater activate!
