i caught whatever beastie cold was living in danny for a few days before we moved. /sigh. so, aside from the rigors of moving, i've been down'n'out with all the joys a phlegmy cold can muster... moving is just so disruptive.
also, our DSL isn't active, and probably won't be until tuesday. i'm sure AT&T just needs to push a signal or verify our modem - something extremely standard and banal - but can they do it quickly? no. they have to send someone out to visit us. the complexity they impose on simple matters is infuriating.
today, however, i was up and about from roughly noon onward. i got the kitchen cleaned up a bit and i'm doing some laundry; i'm also taking advantage of the pirated wireless (which can die on a moment's notice) to re-establish myself in WoW... you miss a week there, it's like they haven't seen you in a month.
i am feeling much improved, thanks to nyquil and a lot of sleep. i'm hoping tomorrow will see me back to 80% of my normal energy. monday is the test run for the SF/sausalito commute, so i want to be alert for that.
