i find it backwards that politicians were encouraged, pushed and/or bullied to rally behind bush post-9/11 and agree to whatever he decided, yet are now encouraged, pushed and/or bullied to join partisan sides either with/against obama's stimulus package. now, i don't know what said package entails - haven't had time to research - and for all i know it's not a good idea. it just seems to me that a time of economic crisis is not the best time to re-engage in partisan bickering. wouldn't more get done if people didn't "take sides" and instead worked hard?
lol, i know, that's not the nature of politics. hence my "politics sucks" viewpoint.
my massage went well yesterday. it definitely helped relax some areas, but it was incredibly painful, what with muscle and nerve sensitivity. i am definitely less numb in my toe and shin. there is no easy fix to this situation; there isn't one muscle or spot causing all the issues. it's more a series of muscles that are feeding off each other. there are a few problem spots i can massage myself; hopefully that will help.
livejournal is being weird and i lost some stuff... it wasn't important though.
there's a trick to my line of work. stress comes when things remain open-ended, but projects don't always wrap up neatly. it seems the trick is to have an answer and/or update ready for all open projects, even if i can't conclude them or finalize them on my own. i feel stress when i don't know how to respond to the question, "where are you on that?" that stress goes away when i can give some sort of answer, either in conclusion, or in continuation. this is an important thing for me to realize.
