(no subject)
is anyone else on Twitter? i sort of want to get more into it 'cause it's spiffy, but there doesn't seem to be too much of a point if you don't have a few friends doin' the same thing... so if you are, let me know, so i can find you!
the ipod nano i essentially get for free (apple's back to school special -- buy a computer, they throw in a free ipod after rebate) shipped out already, along with the protection plan for my macbook pro, but the notebook itself is still being "configured." the only difference between the one i ordered and the one in stores is a faster hard drive... come on apple, just have a stack of pre-installed ones lying around already!
i also need to order the spiffy purple case from speck... there's 3 days left until the 50% off thing expires.
seeing as how yesterday felt like friday, i'm happy today is actually friday. i miss working with carole on the houseboat; working with ranny 5 days a week isn't unpleasant, but it's tiring. carole has a polished system set up and my job is to work within that system, whereas ranny has a personal system and often looks to me to improve said system, but since it's not *my* system, a lot of expended energy can often get me nowhere.
