(no subject)
i just sent off a bunch of resumes. none of them were to jobs i really want, but i figure it can't hurt to see what's out there, and maybe land an interesting gig. i find it's easier to sit down and send resumes out when i already have a job lined up -- and linda's already contacted me about training this week, meaning more work! yay. i'm hoping this software is something i can put on my own computer so i can work at home; i don't think her apartment is huge, or that she's looking for an assistant. she wants a sub-contractor. i'm good at that.
aiden had his bandage removed today. it's almost strange, seeing his little leg bend again, but i'm glad he's using it. all he's done for the past 2 hours is groom lick groom... but he's finally settled down for a nap. i really really REALLY hope he doesn't bite at the stitches because the last thing either of us want is to put that damn cone back on his head...
i'm tired today. i didn't sleep well (overheated) and i kept waking up from 7 am onward. a nap would really hit the spot. but first i should eat something...
