(no subject)
last night was a fun and crazy night!
and of course, by crazy, i mean as crazy as it can get while hanging out with a few close friends and playing WoW... but still!
danny and i took colin and takahiro to shabu-san in japantown for takahiro's birthday dinner. shabu-shabu, for those not familiar, is a meal during which the people at the table cook their own food at the table. usually one eats meat, vegetables, and noodles with different sauces, and rice; it's all very tasty! and apparently i was in the mood for sake, not having properly consumed any in months, so i opted for drinks along with my meal and i definitely got my money's worth. then it was back to C/T's house for WoW and tea... except colin had espresso... and i was in the mood for wine... so i had espresso, tea *and* wine. that was actually a novel experience. also, kittyrumrums hit 65! only 5 more levels to go...
but this morning, however, i didn't check my email enough (by which i mean... i didn't check it compulsively every 30 seconds), because the 11 am meeting was cancelled and i don't have my office key on me. so, here i sit in the hallway, grateful as hell for wireless internets and wondering if tom and/or koji are planning on coming into the office today...
i think i'll go train rumrums while i wait... and then if i don't hear from them... i am so outta here! ^_^
EDIT: tom showed up! and koji is on the way. so... to my desk i go! but actually, it's less stressful, getting stuff done here as opposed to at home...
