I'm thinking a canoe/camp/hiking trip this spring break. Launch from the Okefenokee swamp out of S.Georgia, and ride on down to at least the Big Shoals, just shy of White Springs, Florida. Its a 35 mile trip, could be easily done in three days plus or minus for hiking exploration and portaging.

canoeing through Hyacinth meadows is vexatious but well-worth the shoulder strain.

Anslinger and his department of Narcotics put a stamp tax on marihuana in 1937. The law required that you recieve a stamped ticket that allowed you or whomever the possession of Marihuana. The catch was that in order to recieve the stamped ticket, one had to show the officials the Marihuana in question, but due to the fact that the possessor had no stamped-ticket allowing them the pot-possession, they were immediately incriminated, and thus incarcerated. Also, Anslinger printed only a paltry sum of these stamped-tickets. clever asshole.
