A friend of mine and i had a conversation about the 'ladder of friendship'. It makes complete sense if you're not retarded... but then, I think that's why women just don't get it. They're too used to backstabbing and talking behind each other's back that even this simple concept doesn't make sense to them.

All I'm gonna say about the ladder of friendship is that if Person A is really good friends with Person B, if Person C says something about Person A, Person B has every right to tell Person A what was said.

Why? Because Person A is higher on the ladder then Person C, so your loyalty is defined.

Anyway, this little fiasco with a certain Person C found a way to ruin my day. Girls are just incredible at frickin moping. It's like moms teach their daughters three things: how to put on makeup, how to backstab and how to mope to make guys feel guilty.

In other news, I had a fantastic time playing tennis with Joey's gf. For a girl that is maybe 5'2'' and weighs possibly 100 pounds, she's a total thug. She was totally smashing the ball back at me. This is the first time in nearly 4 years that I've found someone I can really try to hit with. Go all out, you know? I wasn't trying to 'teach' someone who hadn't played much before or who hadn't had more than a passing interest in the game. It wasn't just me popping the ball back to the person so they'd have an easy time trying to hit it back to me. I got to hit for winners, got winners hit against me and even put together some brutal rallies.

In other news, I'm currently obsessed with Michelle Branch, Pink Floyd and The Used. I'm also starting to get into some older rock music like Supertramp, it's way more theatrical in its production than modern rock. There's an operatic quality to it that is just so much fun to listen to.
