A courier packet for Kavya
I have mentioned about Kavya's collection of Chhota Bheem comic books here previously. We have been adding to it whenever we find an issue at the news stand. Last week she came to Suchitra with a bunch of her coins and both laughed and she went back [with her coins]. Later I came to know that she wanted the remaining collection. For which she was willing to part with her money from her piggy bank.
SO last week I went to the Chhota Bheem website and bought one lot of the missing serial numbers. And sent it to her name. Today morning she was having a cough and a cold and so Suchitra had not sent her to school. Sometime in the morning she got a call asking for her, but when the chap continued in Kannada she gave it to her mom. It was the courier. Except that after the instructions he didn't turn up. Even after I had come home for lunch. Poor thing was dying of anxiety [not knowing what was in the package.] Wondering aloud with her mom, about the previous two instances when she got a telescope and a Monopoly game.
Finally after lunch the courier arrived, and she signed for it, and she opened it. To be stunned to see a set of 6 Chhota Bheems, now she has an almost complete collection.
