(no subject)
On Saturday I got to see my friend Cindy. She visited from California. I have known her since I was 8 years old and we have always been the best of friends. :)
We went out to Spot coffee and hung out for like 2 hours and then went to Muthers. I had never been there before, but we got to see the drag queens which was really cool. I enjoyed it a lot. :)
Sunday I went to church and we had our potluck. Sunday night I began to feel like I had a head cold. I went to bed and Monday morning felt alright. I went and did my bloodwork. They are testing my lipids, blood sugar/glucose, iron count, and my red and white blood cells (apparently to see what my immune system is doing.. whatever). I gave 3 vials of blood and the lady who drew the blood was the gentlest person ever :) she rocked.
I came home and was enjoying the rest of my day. Monday evening once again i felt like i had a head cold. i went to bed and woke up this morning at 5am. i felt like death. i threw up 3 times this morning between 5am and 5:45am. my mom finally picked up the phone and called work for me and told them i was sick. my manager told her she was going to write me up for not calling sooner. Whatever. I was supposed to be there at 7am to cover a co-workers shift. I dont tend to work Tuesdays, but wanted to pick up hours. Our store doesnt open until 6. My manager got there apparently at 5am, but I was supposed to give like 3 hours notice. I dont care. Being written up by mcdonalds means very little. One of my co-workers has worked there less time than me and already been written up 4 times and suspended twice and still has a job. :P
My dad thinks I am so sick today because they drew blood yesterday when I was probably coming down with something and the blood loss made me worse. I dont know. I have been a blood donor for years and never had issues with that and that was more blood drawn than for the bloodwork. Owell.
I found out today that my insurance has been renewed for another year. They re-evaluate you every year to establish your income level I guess and I still make a lot less than the cut off point. So that is good news.
Other than that not much else is going on.
