Weird question but if you've had the 3 hour glucose test...
...can you tell me about how much your doctor's office/lab billed it for?
I realize only my doctor's office could give me the exact numbers but I'm just trying to get a rough guess. I just found out my insurance won't cover it, it is supposed to be tomorrow, and of course by the time my insruance company told me - I've been going back and forth with them since 7/5 - it was 6pm on a Friday night and billing was long gone. Getting rough numbers would really really help.
I am just feeling panicked and desperate - my insurance company is a mess and it took weeks to find out this would be paid in full by me, they kept telling me it would be covered and I just needed to wait for the paperwork to be processed. After 8+ phone calls and a dozen emails I finally forced the issue to a supervisor who told me "What? Oh no, your old claims were correct and you're at your maximum - no more payments or in-network discounts will be issued. The $800 outstanding that we told you weren't your responsibility actually are, and the test will be your responsibility in full. Have a nice weekend!"
