sooo tired of waiting
Hi everyone..I am feeling a little bit at the end of my rope and wondering if anyone has had a similar situation.
I'm currently 41+3 hoping on a homebirth. Actually, the due date is lucky because today WOULD have been week 42 exactly but my midwife agreed to change the due date from one based on my LMP (because I am not 100% sure of it) to one based on the 12 week ultrasound. Luckily, I have been given a few extra days to try and have this baby. The problem is NOTHING is happening.
I lost a huge chunk of the mucous plug last Wed., and tiny bits have come out since then.
Crazy nesting the last few weeks- scrubbing things, organizing things and if you knew me, this is totally out of character for me!!
A few different sensations in the past week or so- but I can't tell if it is the baby moving around or contractions. If they are contractions, I think they would have to be strong BH because they are NOT painful in any way nor regular at all.
My husband and I have been having sex lots and i've been walking, eating spicy food, etc. I just feel so defeated right now- like this baby is not going to come on her own and that it is inevitable I will need to go be induced. How did you combat this feeling if you have experienced it?
