Hey guys I am 21 weeks pregnant and I have a question about primary care providers.
Being pregnant this is the first time in my life that I actually have insurance. (I am 27) I already have a great midwife team who has worked with me so far during my pregnancy. I will be giving birth at a birth center in the hospital in my city with them.
I have had a hard time trying to find a primary care provider in my city. There are two low income clinics that have openings, but my mom has been to both those places and I do NOT like or trust their staff/doctors. I went with my mom to many of the appointments and the vibe was just bad.
The nearest doctor with an opening is in a city about 13 miles away from my city.
My question: Is it a bad thing to have your primary care doctor this far away? It doesn't seem THAT far, but I started worrying that I just don't know what I'm doing. :P
Any help is great, thank you.
