Postpartum Period Weirdness
I know it's not fully pregnancy related, but my Google-fu skills are failing me at the moment...
I'm currently just over 11 weeks postpartum with Baby #2 - I started my first PP period last Wednesday (while EBF'ing... suck!). It was a little bit heavier than normal, lasted 5 days, no crazy cramping or symptoms. Overall, nothing too crazy or odd. Here it is, just over a week later and I've started getting blood when wiping again. That combined with my usual dull ache in the uterine & lower back areas and I'm sensing another period.
What the heck? Every forum I've found points to miscarriage or uterine infection or that it has something to do with hormonal BC -
I'm not on any hormonal BC, hubby and I have had a decent amount of unprotected sex since 4w PP, I'm exclusively breastfeeding my son, and I got a negative pregnancy test last week (I thought the PMS might have been pregnancy symptoms). With my first, I got my period back a month after I stopped breastfeeding and it was completely normal from start to finish.
So, oh wise ones... miscarriage? Early ovulation bleeding? Anovulatory cycle? Normal postpartum hormone adjustment? Any experiences with this sort of thing would be helpful.
