Over the last weekend my Left wisdom tooth decided he wanted to join the party. Unfortunately my Left wisdom tooth is crowding all of my other teeth, and making the whole left side of my mouth all the way up my jaw unbearably ( Read more... )

The baby takes it's nutrition from your body, your existing reserves.

I'd try clove oil around the tooth to try and damping it. Place the clove oil on cotton balls and pack near the tooth.

You definitely want to be taking in enough calories at least for yourself. Yes, the baby will find a way to get what it needs regardless, but you should really get into the habit now otherwise breastfeeding will be nearly impossible once the baby is here.

I had an infected wisdom tooth/gum last week and my dentist recommended a special mouthwash and it fixed the problem in about a day. It was Colgate Savacol in the green version. It was horrible but prevented me needing antibiotics.

No problems, I was getting worried and posted here and my dentist wouldn't remove it during pregnancy. I'm so glad some disgusting mouthwash solved my problems. If they don't have that one at the pharmacy ask them if they have something similar (I'm in Australia so things might have different names/branding but it was just a normal chemist/pharmacy).

This pregnancy has kicked my ass and I had some WICKED tooth pain so I totally understand. What worked for me was extra strength Tylenol as much as you are allowed to take, and clove oil applied to the whole sore area with a qtip. The clove oil burns but numbs it really well. I also bought that special sensodyne toothpaste. There are lots of natural pain relief remedies if you google! I am so sorry you are going through this I was sobbing at one point it was so terrible. best of luck to you!
