No offense, but your doctor sounds like an idiot. Can you see someone else in her practice or get a second opinion outside of it? If you can move your care, I would suggest it, since she is obviously ignoring all medical science that indicates your June 1st DD is correct. Your concerns are more than justified, and she seems to be ignoring them - what happens if you go into labor and have complications because she refuses to schedule your c-section based on all the evidence ( ... )

All of this.

More than one thing has pointed to your original due date of June 1. If the doctor is ignoring it, you should seriously bring it up with her and tell her you want monitoring now or switch doctors.

THANK YOU!!! I take no offense at all because I too am coming to the conclusion that she is an idiot. I am going to call her office and see if she or another in her practice would be willing to start the Ultraounds thursday and if they say no then I will be calling other practices.

I agree w/what everyone has said 100% and your course of action is exactly what I would do if I were in your shoes. At the end of the day, you are your own best advocate.

Good luck!

Yeah, I'd basically say that with your measurements and your LMP date, there is simply NO WAY that you are due in July, and you are concerned about your OBs refusal to even consider that her dating might be wrong. If you speak to another doctor in her practice, I'd point out that if she is wrong and things end badly, it will reflect on the whole practice. I would ask to speak specifically to a partner or the most senior doctor. If you can, or haven't already, have your previous OB send over your chart and copies of the pictures from your first scan.
