Taking your spouse to appointments
I've been watching this community off and on as me and my husband were TTC. And now that we're expecting (Yay!), I've got a question.
Did any of you take your spouse along to your first appointment?
I know that it tends to be one of the longest and that they're going to do a lot of things that will be of no interest to him (blood work, etc.). And I don't want him to have to stand there for an hour while I get poked and prodded. But I would like him to meet my midwife/doctor and see the first ultrasound if they decide to do one.
Is it worth taking him along?
I don't feel like I need to have him there for moral support or anything. I just don't want him to miss out on something he might regret later!
