Has anyone here had an ectopic pregnancy?
I'm on CD 22 (I don't know when/if I ovulated, but we had sex on CD 12, 15, and 17-19). EWCM cleared up yesterday. On Saturday, CD 20, I woke up in excruciating pain, so bad at first that I thought I might need to go to the ER. I had to pee really badly and it almost hurt too much to pee, but I managed to. I cramped all day on and off, but the horrible pain waned after a few hours (I was able to sleep on and off through it and wound up sleeping an extra 4 hours). I had some gas, but nothing bad. We had had sex the night before and I had some cramping afterward and my left ovary/round ligament was hurting quite a bit as I went to sleep. I woke up today (Monday), again in excruciating pain-- more painful but it dissipated more quickly; again light cramping on and off all day today. This time I did actually have to use the bathroom an hour or so later. I'd say the pain was as bad as my miscarriage, but not as long.
Anyway... I am at risk for ectopic pregnancy. If I do have an ectopic pregnancy would I even be at risk for fallopian damage this early on? I know a sign of an ectopic pregnancy is severe pain, but would the pain come and go like this? If it happens again tomorrow, should I try to get a same-day appointment?
I am on Metformin, which gives me a lot of bowel issues and I did have to go #2 pretty bad awhile after the pain dissipated today, but I've been on Metformin for almost a year and haven't once had pain like this in the past (I have had gastrointestinal pain, but that feels a lot different than this and never lasts so long and is never as excruciating). I also have had a c-section-- could it just be adhesions (if I'm pregnant)? I didn't think they hurt that badly, just felt pinchy and weird.
