I'm right at 39 weeks pregnant and I've been in "preterm/false" labor for a month. For the past month I've had horrible insomnia. Yesterday I had my OB appt, I'm still 2 cm, 90 %.
I ended up going to bed w/my 3 year old around 830 last night and for the first time in a month slept for most of the night, other than getting up to use the bathroom, I don't think I moved. My 3 year old got up at 7 w/my mother and I stayed in the bed. I ended up sleeping till 11!!!! I got up long enough to eat and he was getting sleepy so I went back to bed w/him and took a 2 hour nap.
Long story short, I feel exhausted! Almost drugged, I could probably go to sleep now and stay in bed til tomorrow. My baby's movements have slowed since yesterday and I've had a bit of lost mucous today. I honestly feel like I'm walking around in a dream like state, as if I hadn't slept. My face has been flush today, I don't have a fever and my BP is fine.
Anyone else extremely exhausted this late? Is this "normal", is this one of those "right before labor" type of things? Or is my body finally just gonna stop fighting sleep? I didn't get this far w/my first son, I had gestational hypertension and was induced at 38 weeks.
TIA please excuse typos, doing this rom blackberry!
