I just have to bitch & moan for a moment here...
I AM SICK OF BEING CONSTIPATED every other f-ing day.
I AM SICK OF HAVING GAS and gas pains so bad that I collapse on the floor of the bathroom and don't want to get up.
I AM SICK OF BEING STARVING AND TOO FULL ALL AT THE SAME TIME.
I AM SICK OF HAVING HEARTBURN for the whole second half of most days.
Sorry... I just had to voice that somewhere and I know lots of you can feel me on most of them.
Today, I have stabbing, horrible, make me want to puke gas pains and I'm sitting at my desk at work trying not to go home early as I really need the money and my desk is full of stuff that needs to be done after the long weekend. To top it off, baby boy has decided that my cervix is a wonderful and fun place to throw a quick jab/headbutt/kick/whatever. Lovely. LOL!
Anyone have any suggestions on things I can do to prevent this from happening all the time? A favorite fiber supplement? Something that rids you of the gas/constipation that works WELL for you?
So far, GasX barely touches it. A glass or two of prune juice only helps when taken in conjunction WITH Milk of Magnesia, but I don't want to be in the bathroom all day at work every other day or so! It would be nice to come up with something I can take in advance to stop this painful and uncomfortable situation from happening in the first place. I can deal with the heartburn as Tums seems to work well on that. I can even deal with being hungry & full at the same time. I CAN'T be spending so much time in the bathroom and not get anything accomplished while I'm in there!
PS - I checked the tags and read through them and have written down a few suggestions but thought since it's such a common thing and I really wanted to complain to SOMEONE that I'd ask anyway.
