So I'm worried I might be leaking amniotic fluid but I'm not sure. On Tuesday night I noticed it. It was clear and didn't smell like anything.
I had my weekly appointment on Wednesday and the nurse asked the typical questions of "Are you bleeding, having contractions or leaking amniotic fluid?" I told her I've been having stronger BH contractions and I thought I might have leaked amniotic fluid the night before and it was kind of worrying me. Then I talked to my doctor and he checked my cervix. I told him about the leaking and he acted kind of irritated. He said I should've said something before he did the check because the lubricant they use interferes with the test they do to see if it is amniotic fluid. I told him I told the nurse about it. I guess she was too stupid to say anything to the doctor about it... Probably would've been a good idea! He told me to come back in 4 hours if it was still leaking.
I didn't notice it again until now nd it's worrying me. It's Sunday and the doctor's office is closed. Urgent care probably won't do anything. I don't want to go to Labor & Delivery unless I know for sure it's not me just leaking pee. Anyone have any advice?
